Lake
Editor, London

Kirk Lake runs outsideleft's London operations. As a pop culture anthropologist he unearths things people really want. As a writer, he provides insight into things we often didn't know we wanted to know about. His writing has appeared in numerous publications including the Guardian, Dazed and Confused, the Idler, Sleazenation and the Observer. In the late 1990s he edited Twister magazine publishing new material from authors such as Charles Bukowski, Richard Hell, Billy Childish and Hubert Selby. A single issue of Twister now sells on eBay for more money than he made for producing the entire series.
