As you know well, we are long time fans of SoCal's John Kilduff, for his painting, his cable TV show Let's Paint TV (now a YouTube channel with live shows every day at 11 pst!), his Fast Food Paintings and now, his latest project, 'Kilduff Motors'.
Here's an aside, I know you need it: In a city where the cars are often, amongst many other things, art, cars are kings, they really are eye candy... I was out walking one night and saw Kanye West's Bentley GT Continental neither in nor out of a parking lot, halfway in, halfway out. It was said that parking was tight, a famed rapper was playing a secret show nearby - you know such a secret everyone knows about it anyway, and the Valet's weren't insured to park such a glorious vehicle in their lot at the dark end of the street.
Looked like he'd just dumped it.
Maybe it wasn't his at all. Everyone was too busy stopping and staring at the car to be sure who got out of it. Probably wondering how to jack it in that neighbourhood. But yeah, staring at it in the way they might if say Lady Di came back. Cars = Royalty. Have you seen how that thing's upholstered? Damn, anyway...
Anyway, surpassing really, those Tesla Shops setting up in shopping malls, in the city where the car is art, John Kilduff of Kilduff Motors situates his cardboard car showroom downtown in Blackstone's art gallery. Kilduff Motors proudly claims to be the only cardboard car dealership in the area. True some models so look like a late model Trabant - the last great cardboard car franchise, but maybe that's to be expected. It's difficult to improve upon perfection.
Kilduff Motors I have been assured provides the best warranties in their class, with absolutely no cooling off period and a delivery schedule shorter than a mass produced Ford. Not at all bad for a hand tooled vehicle.
