I think that no one will ever forget Millicent Chapanda’s singing, playing and teaching at the Studio 67 Club at Cork’s in Bearwood on Friday. Millicent is kind of mesmerising. The setting, the minimal lighting, Millicent’s incredibly incandescent charisma, well you don’t need me to tell you it leaps our of these jpegs heavily compressed so they can fit down your phone. - lamontpaul
Finally an image of chief Studio 67 instigator, Woodenhand, cueing it up another dance floor favorite. Despite a week spent well under the weather, Woodenhand shakes the room and everyone in it in that last hour. It's great to see so many people having so much fun in Bearwood and then, being able to amble a short distance home.
